About Web Guide to Healthcare
About Victoria Wermers, RN, MSN, FNP, PMHNP
With over 24 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I’ve worked in private practice and minor acute care clinics, integrating mental health into primary care. My background includes diverse roles in emergency, intensive care, mental health, geriatrics, women’s health, teaching, and occupational medicine, along with experience as a psychiatric technician in the military.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer six years ago, I reflected on my goals and recognized the need for better healthcare access and education. This inspired me to create Web Guide to Healthcare—a platform designed to empower individuals with knowledge and to provide accessible care. Through upcoming telehealth, I aim to offer convenient, supportive services that bridge gaps in traditional healthcare, ensuring that patients can receive timely, affordable care from the comfort of their homes.

I am committed to continuously updating this site and welcome your feedback, questions, suggestions, and ideas to add or change.
Please Note: This is not an AI built website. Sometimes I reference AI to clarify information, to search for terms, or to overcome a moment of writers' block but I do not use AI to diagnose patients. The information here is built on research.
